Sassy health status 10.18.18

Concern: Her blood calcium is above normal. Ionized calcium 1.71

My interaction with her today: Came home from business trip around 6:30pm and she was very excited to see me. That's good news.

Treats: She ate biscuits and a greenie for me - good news

Plans: Monday morning CT scan with Dr. Khanna's office

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

My AKC registered name is "Ch. Silveroak's One Hot Little Number" and my call name is "Sassy" and YES - I earned both of my names! ;~)

I was born on July 9, 2008 with three littermates. My father is the top winning American Eskimo Dog of all time...Ch. Silveroak's Juneau Arnold (Juneau) and my mother is Silveroak's Dare Me Not (Darcy).

On July 13, 2008 Kate unexpectedly lost one of her two Eskies named Dakota leaving the other one, Schmoopy (Silveroak's Love of Kate's Life) without what had become his best buddy. Kate contacted Ruth to talk and reach for some consoling and it was during that conversation that she learned I had been born just a few days earlier. Toward the end of the conversation, Ruth, filled with compassion and understanding said..."Although the puppies are all accounted for, if you want one, you can have one."

Ruth and Kate kept in contact and while there was no replacing Dakota, Schmoopy really needed another young companion.

In September 2008, Kate flew out to San Mateo with Schmoopy for the annual Silveroak's reunion AND to get a young pup for Schmoopy to pal around with. Not only did Ruth allow Kate to take one of us home but she allowed her to be the first to pick whichever one of us she wanted! I was so thrilled when she picked me!!

It has been and continues to be an awesome journey together! I absolutely love Mia (who certainly knows how to keep us in check. You wouldn’t necessarily know it, but she is definitely the “Alpha” dog…but make no mistake, when she’s out of site, **I** rule the roost! As for Schmoopy, I totally adore him but shhhh, he may not know that as I give him a hard time whenever I get the opportunity! It is just too easy and he is just too much fun to tease! As for Kate…she takes amazing care of all of us and I don’t think anyone on this earth could love us more & I absolutely love her with all my heart!
